KATHMANDU: West Wing Secondary School, Lalitpur, celebrated its 24th anniversary by organizing various programs on the school premises on Saturday, 2024.
According to a statement issued by the school, separate sessions were organized for junior students (PG to Grade 3) and senior students (Grade 4 to 12). The event featured prize distribution ceremonies recognizing outstanding students in various fields, as well as awards for exceptional teachers and staff, the statement added.
On the occasion, students showcased their talents through creative performances, including dances, songs, skits, poetry, and plays.
Addressing the gathering, Hari Govinda Shrestha, Mayor of Mahalaxmi Municipality, expressed delight at the school’s efficient management and its consistent academic excellence.
Established in 2000, the school offers classes from Playgroup to Grade 12. Currently, it has 1,107 students and a team of 78 teachers and staff, according to Principal Baburaj Maharjan.
