KATHMANDU: Sharda Group is providing a brand new car to the Most Valuable Nepali player of the Nepal Premier League (NPL).
Roshan Niraula, the CEO of Brand LogiQ, which holds the commercial rights for the NPL, and Gaurav Sharda, Director of SPG Automobiles of Sharda Group signed an agreement to this extent in Kathmandu on Tuesday.
SPG Automobiles is the authorized distributor for Omoda and Jaeeco electric vehicles in the Nepali market.
Additionally, ‘Omoda and Jaeeco’ has become the co-sponsor of NPL. Now onwards, CAN will use ‘Driven by Omoda and Jaeeco’ in every NPL poster, flyer, event backdrop and press statement, etc.
The first edition of NPL kicks off at the TU International Cricket Ground in Kathmandu on November 30. NPL features eight city-based franchises – Biratnagar Kings, Janakpur Bolts, Kathmandu Gurkhas, Chitwan Rhinos, Pokhara Avengers, Lumbini Lions, Karnali Yaks and Sudurpashchim Royals.
