KATHMANDU: The Chhirkan-Deurali section of Prithvi Highway in Tanahun district will be closed for four and half hours for 20 days starting Monday night.
Issuing a statement on Monday, the District Administration Office, Tanahun, advised people to use alternative roads stating that the road section will face a lengthy closure for road construction. “Except for emergency use vehicles, the road section will be closed for all other vehicles during the period,” the office said in a notice.
The road will be open from 1 pm to 1:30 pm to facilitate movement of waiting motor vehicles.
The Chhirkan-Deurali section is 41.5 kilometers long. The project has achieved 68% physical progress.
