KATHMANDU: The Rajendra Mahato-led National Liberation Party (NLP), Nepal, has applied to the Election Commission for party registration.
According to Keshav Jha, a leader of the party, it will have 173 members, with Mahato as the president.
Jha said the party has requested the ‘Fish’ as its electoral symbol.
Mahato recently resigned from the Loktantrik Samajbadi Party and formed the NLP.
