KATHMANDU: A 63-year-old man died in a tiger attack in Nawalparasi East district on Friday.
According to the District Police Office, Nawalparasi East, Jiv Bahadur Thing of Laxmi Tandi in Binayi Triveni Rural Municipality was killed when a tiger attacked him in the Tinchuli Buffer Zone Community Forest. Thing had gone to the community forest to collect fodder.
Police launched a search operation after locals informed them about the tiger attack on Thing.
Thing’s body has been taken to the district hospital for a forensic test, according to DSP JC Shah.
