Three held for murder of a man in Nayabasti

KATHMANDU: Police have arrested three individuals for the murder of a man in Kathmandu.

According to the District Police Range, Kathmandu, Amrit Magar (38) from Panchthar, currently residing in Kapan, Bhuvan Shrestha (35) from Sindhupalchok, and Bimala Bhattarai (27) from Ilam, currently living in Nayabasti, have been arrested for the murder of Hom Bahadur Fauja Magar (43) of Kageshwari Manohara Municipality-9 in Kathmandu.

Magar was found unconscious at Nayabasti at around 3:15 pm on Tuesday. A team from Bouddha Police Circle rushed him to Shankarapur Hospital. Magar succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

The three suspects are believed to have attacked Magar, say police.
