Bus heading to Kathmandu from Gorkha missing since Friday

KATHMANDU: A bus that departed from Lapubeshi, Gorkha, bound for Kathmandu has been missing for two days.

According to Narayan Khatri, president of the Daraudi Transport Association, the bus with registration number Na 4 Kha 2270 has been unaccounted for since the night of Friday.
“The bus left on Friday morning and was in contact until 10 pm that night near Khanikhola of Dhading,” Khatri told Himal Press.

“Since then, there has been no contact with anyone. The company has begun its own search as there has been no communication until today.”

He added that it is believed the bus had only the driver and two assistants onboard, and it remains unclear if there were any other passengers.
