KATHMANDU: Police have seized 11 sacks of mobile phones from a passenger bus in Sarlahi.
According to the District Police Office, Sarlahi, police seized the mobile phones from a bus heading to Kathmandu from Gaighat during a routine inspection at Bagmati Municipalit-12 along the East-West Highway.
There were a total of 550 mobile phone sets in the sacks. The total value of mobile phones is estimated at Rs 7.38 million.
Police have handed over the impounded mobile phones to the Revenue Investigation Office, Pathlaiya.
