Cabinet approves foreign minister Deuba’s India visit

KATHMANDU: The cabinet has approved Minister for Foreign Affairs Arzu Rana Deuba’s official visit to India.

Deuba is visiting India from August 17 to 21 at the invitation of Indian External Miniter S Jaishankar. During the visit, Deuba will hold a bilateral discussion with her counterpart Jaishanker. She will also meet other Indian leaders.

This is her first foreign visit since assuming the office of the finance ministry on July 15.

The two foreign ministries, however, have yet to confirm the visit.
