KATHMANDU: The Judicial Council has transferred 91 district and high court judges.
A meeting of the council held on Tuesday transferred 26 judges from high courts and 65 from district courts.
Dhir Bahadur Chand has been transferred from Patan High Court to the Rajbiraj Bench of Janakpur High Court, while Lekhanth Paudel has been brought to Patan High Court. Paudel was on deputation at Patan High Court from Okhaldhunga Bench of Biratnagar High Court.
Likewise, Janak Pandey has been transferred to Surkhet High Court from Patan High Court, while Shyamji Pradhan of Patan High Court has been transferred to the Nepalgunj Bench of the Tulsipur High Court.
Similarly, Janak Pandey of Surkhet High Court has been recommended for appointment as the Chairperson of the Labor Court
