KATHMANDU: The Naubsie-Malekhu stretch of Prithvi Highway will remain closed for vehicular traffic between 10 pm to 3 am for 15 days starting Wednesday.
Publishing a notice on Tuesday, the Nagdhunga-Mulgin Road Project (Eastern Section) said the road section is being shut during the specified period for girder launching works on bridges over Ganesh Khola, Dangdung Khola, Khesthe Khola and Pokhara Khola rivers.
According to the notice, motor vehicles of emergency services will be allowed to ply the road during the period.
Meanwhile, the project office has advised people to Galchhi-Bidur-Chhahare-Tokha road as an alternative during the period.
