KATHMANDU: The National Examination Board (NEB) has published the results of the Secondary Education Examination (SEE).
According to the NEB, a total of 242,092, or 52.14% of the total examinees, secured NG (No Grade) which means they are ineligible to enroll in Grade 11. Examinations for 221 students have been canceled.
According to Examination Controller Nanda Lal Poudel, 242,092 regular examinees have passed the examination. Of these, 186 secured a score of 4 GPA.
The NEB published the results this year according to the Letter Grading Directives, 2021. This means examinees were evaluated separately for theoretical and practical examinations. Examinees failing to secure a minimum of 35% in theoretical subjects were assigned NG.
Examinees securing NG in up to two subjects can sit for the grade improvement examination, say NEB officials.
