KATHMANDU: Monsoon entered Nepal three days ahead of normal times on Monday.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the monsoon has entered Nepal from the eastern district of Ilam in Koshi Province.
The monsoon generally becomes active in Nepal from June 13. This year, however, the monsoon entered Nepal on Monday, according to the division.
According to the division, monsoon winds will gradually reach other parts of the country.
