All four arrested for Battisputali murder are minors: Police

KATHMANDU: It has been revealed that all four individuals arrested for investigation into a murder that occurred in Battisputali on Saturday evening are minors.

Shambu Dhimal (24) of Morang was stabbed during a clash between two groups at Kumari Tol, near Battisputali in KMC-9. Dhimal passed away while undergoing treatment at KMC Teaching Hospital.

“Our preliminary investigation shows that the four arrested in connection with the incident are minors. That is why we have withheld their identities,” stated DSP Navaraj Adhikari of District Police Range, Kathmandu, told RSS news agency.

Dhimal’s friend, Manish Chaudhary (23), was also injured in the incident. His out of danger, according to police.
