CG warns of legal action against those defaming Wai Wai

KATHMANDU: Chaudhary Group has said that it would initiate legal action against all those spreading baseless rumors about Wai Wai noodles.

According to Wai Wai CEO Pradeep Pudasaini, engaging in writing, speaking or making videos with baseless, misleading and false statements regarding the quality of Wai Wai noodles is an illegal act. “Preparations are underway to take legal action against those involved in such activities,” he added.

Stating that efforts were being made to defame the company, the Pudasaini also said that legal proceedings would be initiated against those involved as per existing laws.

Earlier, Chaudhary Group’s Managing Director Nirvana Chaudhary had urged one and all not to engage in attempts to defame Wai Wai noodles. “If anyone has doubts about the quality of our product, we can arrange a factory visit so that they can see the production process themselves at any time,” Chaudhary said in a statement.
