KATHMANDU: KATHMANDU: Sara Minkara, the Special Adviser to the US Department of State on International Disability Rights, has arrived in Kathmandu.
Issuing a statement on Thursday, the US Embassy in Kathmandu said Minkara will meet with government officials, civil society organizations advocating for people with disabilities, and USG alumni.
“She will also learn about USAID’s work with partner organizations in advancing inclusive development in Nepal,” the statement added.
The Lebanese-American has been serving as the Special Advisor on International Disability Rights for the US Department of State since November 2021.
