KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Poudel has administered the oath of office and secrecy to three new ministers on the recommendation of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal
Dol Prasad Aryal of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Padam Giri of CPN-UML, and Hit Bahadur Tamang of CPN (Maoist Center) were sworn in during a ceremony organized at the Office of the President on Monday.
Dahal, who is also the chairperson of CPN (Maoist Center), ditched the alliance with the Nepali Congress and a few fringe parties and formed a new alliance with CPN-UML and RSP earlier on the day. The new ministers have not been assigned any portfolios yet.
