KATHMANDU: CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal has accused CPN-UML of trying to break the ruling coalition.

Addressing the 2nd Central Council meeting of the party on Sunday, Dahal said UML has been trying to break the coalition after it was forced out of power. “The main opposition party is playing a negative role in a rather irresponsible manner. It is trying different things to break this coalition,” he added.

Nepal also said the ruling coalition should seriously study the results of the National Assembly election in Koshi Province.

“The ruling coalition had shared 19 seats amongst themselves. But one of the ruling coalition candidates was defeated as we witnessed ‘floor crossing’ in Koshi Province,” Nepal said. “The coalition partners should study the issue.”
