POKHARA: One person died and two others were injured in a road accident in Kaski on Wednesday morning.
The incident occurred near Chisakhola when a cargo jeep, en route from Methlang to the Baglung Bus Park of Pokhara, lost control and plunged 20 feet below the road.
The driver, Krishna Bahadur Thapa of Gyarjati in Pokhara-18, succumbed to his injuries at Manipal Teaching Hospital at around 10:30 pm, according to District Police Office, Kaski.
The two other injured individuals, Himala Thapa (69) and Chandrakala Thapa (70), are currently receiving medical treatment at the hospital.
