KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office of the Nepal Police arrested an individual for practicing medicine without a valid medical degree.
A team deputed by the office arrested Sambuddha Bhattacharya (40) on Monday. He is also the promoter of Dhaulagiri Polyclinic-2 located in Biratnagar Municipality-2 of Morang, according to police.
Bhattacharya had been telling people that he was practicing at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital and that he studied MBBS in China. Police are preparing to file a charge-sheet against him.
