KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has directed authorities to promptly address problems seen in the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS) in Dharan.
Dahal invited Minister for Health and Population Mohan Bahadur Basnet and Chief Secretary Dr Baikuntha Aryal at his residence on Tuesday and instructed them to convene the executive meeting of the BPKIHS at the earliest to address the demands raised by teachers and doctors, according to Dahal’s press advisor Govinda Acharya.
“Please address the issue seriously, as the services of a critical sector like health could adversely impact patients and the general public if affected,” Dahal emphasized to the minister.
