POKHARA: Two individuals died and 10 others, including the driver, were injured when a jeep met with an accident near Bhimad of Tanahun on Wednesday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Rum Bahadur BK (42) and Jemalal Darai (55) of Baudikkali-2 of Nawalparasi East, according to the District Police Office, Tanahun.
Both succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment at GP Koirala National Center for Respiratory Disease Center, Belchautara.
The jeep heading to Rampur of Palpa from Pokhara fell 150 meters off the road near Mirchhulung on Tuesday morning while making way for a bus coming from the opposite direction, according to police. Four of the injured are receiving treatment at Belchautara, while the remaining are receiving treatment at Western Regional Hospital, Pokhara.
