KATHMANDU: Electric carmaker BYD has installed DC fast chargers at 11 locations across the country.
Issuing a statement, Cimex Inc, the authorized distributor of BYD for Nepal, said it has installed DC chargers in Pokhara, Nepalgunj, Butwal, Briatnagar, Janakpur, Narayanghat, Anamnagar, Mulkot, Birtamod, Naxal and Gueshwari. The charger at Mulkot on BP Highway is of 60 kW capacity, while the others have the capacity of 30 kW, the company said in the statement.
The company plans to set up chargers at four more locations within a month.
