KATHMANDU: The Embassy of Nepal in Tel Aviv has received the bodies of five out of 10 Nepalis who were killed in the Hamas attack on Israel.
Issuing a statement on Sunday, the Embassy of Nepal said it has received the bodies of Narayan Prasad Neupane, Lokendra Singh Dhami, Ganesh Kumar Nepali, Dipesh Raj Bist, and Ashish Chaudhary.
“We are in the process of receiving the remaining bodies. The embassy is doing the necessary coordination to send the bodies to Kathmandu at the earliest,” the statement said. “We have also intensified the search for the missing Nepali student, Bipin Joshi, by making the best use of the available mechanisms.”
According to the embassy, two out of four Nepalis receiving treatment in the hospital have been discharged so far. “One of them has already reached Nepal, while the other is being taken care of by the embassy,” the statement added.
