KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Poudel on Wednesday administered the oath of office and secrecy to four Nepali ambassadors appointed to different missions.
According to the Office of the President, President Poudel swore in Sudheer Bhattarai (France), Tej Bahadur Chhetri (the United Arab Emirates), Ghanashyam Lamsal (Kuwait) and Ram Prasad Subedi (Switzerland).
Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Dhanraj Gurung, and other high-ranking officials were present on the occasion.
The cabinet meeting held on July 16 nominated ambassadors to six vacant missions. The Parliamentary Hearing Committee endorsed their nominations on August 3.
