KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Minister, Narayan Kaji Shrestha, has said that smugglers and the government cannot coexist.
Speaking at a program in Chitwan on Wednesday, Shrestha said that the government is firm in its commitment to combat corruption, smuggling, and black-marketeering. “The government’s efforts to eradicate the prevailing corruption and impunity in the country will continue without any compromise,” Shrestha said, calling for the support and cooperation of all citizens to combat corruption.
Shrestha said he wishes to ensure that political change in the country serves as a catalyst for social and economic transformation, extending beyond a mere change in leadership.
