KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) Joint General Secretary Mahindra Yadav has been hospitalized after a knife attack in Kathmandu on Wednesday.
According to Superintendent of Police Kumud Dhungel of Kathmandu Police Range, a man identified as Shyam Sapkota of Nuwakot attacked Yadav as he was coming out of the office of the Reporters Club on Wednesday afternoon.
Yadav has received injuries to his head and is receiving treatment at the Trauma Center. He is out of danger, according to the police.
