KATHMANDU: US Senator Chris Van Hollen arrived in Nepal on Friday on an official visit.
“During his visit, he will connect with government officials, youth leaders, parliamentarians, and entrepreneurs to further strengthen political and commercial ties between the US and Nepal and highlight US support for Nepal’s health sector and infrastructure,” the US Embassy in Kathmandu said in a press note posted on its social media platforms.
Hollen is a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and Appropriations Subcommittee on State and Foreign Operations.
