KATHMANDU: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased the prices of petrol and diesel/kerosene by Rs 4 and Rs 3 per liter, respectively.
Likewise, the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) has gone up by Rs 235 per cylinder.
Issuing a statement on Thursday, NOC said that the price of petroleum products has been adjusted as per the price rates forwarded by its sole supplier – the Indian Oil Corporation.
The decision means petrol will now retail for Rs 182 per liter, while diesel/kerosene will be available at Rs 170 per liter in Kathmandu Valley and other major cities across the country. Likewise, the price of LPG has increased to Rs 1,895 per cylinder.
The new prices will come into effect from Thursday midnight, according to the NOC.
