KATHMANDU: Marriott Kathmandu and Fairfield by Marriott Kathmandu have teamed up with Baby Life Home, an NGO, to organize a special origami art session.
“Led by the talented Kyohei Doizoe, Director Chef of Kaku Kaku Shika Jika Japanese restaurant at Fairfield by Marriott, children at Baby Life Home were introduced to the delicate art of paper folding, creating intricate origami designs. This initiative not only showcased the commitment of Fairfield and Marriott Kathmandu to give back to the community but also highlighted the importance of arts in holistic child development,” Marriott said in a statement on Wednesday.
The hotel also donated clothing, sports kits, and essential stationary items to the Baby Life Home.
“We are honored to join hands with Baby Life Home to make a difference in the lives of these wonderful children. Witnessing their enthusiasm and creativity was truly inspiring,” Gaurav Agrawal, Owner of Marriott Kathmandu and Fairfield by Marriott Kathmandu, said in the statement.
This CSR activity is part of a broader commitment by the Marriott group to uplift and empower communities, with a special focus on child welfare and education, Marriott said in the statement.
