KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is likely to visit China in the third week of September.
Minister for Foreign Affairs, NP Saud, made the announcement during an event in Kathmandu on Sunday. Speaking at the launch event of the online-based issuance of the police clearance certificate in Kathmandu on Sunday, Saud said the ministry has begun preparations for the visit.
Saud also said that the government remains committed to maintaining harmonious relations with neighboring countries and allies, reflecting Nepal’s stance on fostering friendly ties in the region.
Earlier, Prime Minister Dahal had undertaken a visit to India from May 31 to June 3. Saud highlighted the visit as one of the significant achievements of the government. Minister Saud highlighted the importance of consensus among all parties concerning Nepal’s foreign policy, emphasizing that advancing international relations based on mutual national and self-interest would bring benefits to the country and its people.
