KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa has proposed the formation of 22 more departments in the party.
Thapa presented the proposal during the central working committee meeting of the party which kicked off in Lalitpur on Tuesday.
The proposal comes at a time when the NC is struggling to nominate members for most of its existing 48 departments. Only the Information, Communication, and Publicity Department of the party has got the complete shape.
