ROLPA: Three members of the same family have died after consuming poisonous mushrooms in Rolpa.
The victims have been identified as Bhima Gurung (33) from Kala Pokhara in Lungri Rural Municipality-5, along with her sons Sushil (11) and Prem (6), according to the District Police Office, Rolpa.
After falling ill from consuming mushrooms collected from a nearby forest, the three were immediately taken to the Basic Health Post in Sulichaur. However, due to the severity of their condition, they were subsequently transferred to Lumbini Provincial Hospital in Butwal. Unfortunately, they were pronounced dead while undergoing treatment, stated Prakash Bhusal, the spokesperson for the District Police Office, Rolpa.
