KATHMANDU: Two passengers died in Salyan when a bus they were traveling in came into contact with live electricity wires on Thursday.
Bala Ram Dangi and his son Top Lal of Gangadev Rural Municipality-4 of Rolpa were electrocuted to death after the bus heading to Rolpa from Dang came in contact with electrical wires at Kapurkot Rural Municipality-3 of Salyan.
According to an eyewitness, the bus came in contact with a wire of a 33 kV transmission line.
The owner of the bus, Mahendra Li of Chhatreshwar-6 of Salyan, was injured in the incident. He is being taken to Tulsipur of Dang for treatment.
