Govt bringing ordinance to address woes of loan shark victims

KATHMANDU: The government has decided to introduce an ordinance to combat loan sharks operating in the country.

Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Rekha Sharma, who also serves as the government spokesperson, said the cabinet on Tuesday decided to bring the law through an ordinance to deal with problems created by the loan sharks.

Sharma stated that the proposed law would provide an effective solution to the issue.

The cabinet is holding its another meeting on Wednesday, according to Sharma.
