KATHMANDU: President Ramchandra Poudel is returning home on Sunday after receiving treatment in India for 10 days.
Issuing a statement on Sunday, the Office of the President said the President is scheduled to return on a scheduled flight of the Nepal Airlines Corporation on Sunday evening.
President Poudel was flown to India on a chartered flight on April 19 a day after he was admitted to TU Teaching Hospital. He received treatment at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi.
“Doctors have advised the President to rest for a few weeks,” the statement added.
