KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is leaving for Qatar on Friday to participate in the the 5th UN Conference on Least Developed Countries (LDC5).
Speaking at a press meet on Sunday, Spokesperson for Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sewa Lamsal, said PM Dahal will also address the general assembly. “PM Dahal will also meet heads of state and heads of government of different countries on the sidelines of the assembly,” she added.
According to the ministry, Dahal will also attend programs being organized by Nepali Embassy in Doha and the Nepali community living in Qatar.
The general assembly is being held on March 5-9 with the theme ‘From Potential to Prosperity’.
Dahal will return home on March 6.
