POKHARA: As many as 40 were injured when a bus coming to Pokhara from Pokhara University in Lekhnath fell into a rivulet on Sunday.
The condition of the three is serious, according to District Police Office, Kaski. Most of the injured are students coming back from the university after getting gowns and hats for the convocation ceremony.
The convocation has been scheduled for Monday.
The bus fell into a rivulet near the Ward Police office, Dandako Nak, according to the spokesperson for District Police Office, Kaski, Inspector Gyan Bahadur Khadka.
The injured are receiving treatment at the hospital of Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences.
Meanwhile, the Mayor of Pokhara Metropolitan City, Dhanaraj Acharya, visited the hospital and met the injured people.
