KATHMANDU: Chief of Army Staff Prabhu Ram Sharma conferred the rank of insignina on newly promoted Major General Krishna Dev Bhatta.
Bhatta was promoted to Major General of Nepal Army by a cabinet meeting held on February 6. He will perform responsibility as the Quarter Master General of the Nepal Army.
CoAS Sharma pinned the rank of insignia of Major General Bhatta amid a ceremony organized at the army headquarters in Bhadarkali on Thursday.
On the occasion, COAS Sharma also pinned the rank of insignia of one newly promoted colonel and four lieutenant colonels, Nepal Army said in a statement.
