81% of applicants fail EPS Korea’s shipbuilding test

According to the EPS Korea Section under the Department of Foreign Employment, only 4,098 out of 32,507 applicants passed the skill test.

The EPS Korea Section will now publish the examination schedule for the second stage of the test.

This is the first time that Nepali workers are being recruited in South Korea’s shipbuilding sector, said Guru Datta Subedi, the director of the EPS Korea Section.

According to the section, South Korea intends to recruit 5,000 workers in the shipbuilding sector through EPS in 2024.
