KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane will be presented before the court later on Sunday for another remand extension.
According to the District Police Office, Kaski, Lamichhane will be presented before the court on Sunday as the previous 10-day remand granted by the court has expired.
Lamichhane is being investigated for cooperative fraud, money laundering and organized crime charges.
Meanwhile, the RSP, which has been continuously protesting in support of is president, is demonstrating in Pokhara on Sunday as well.
A central committee meeting of the party held in Kathmandu on Saturday announced second-phase protest programs against the government.
