KATHMANDU: Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan Kamikawa Yoko arrived in Kathmandu on Sunday on a daylong visit.
Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal welcomed Yoko at the Tribhuvan International Airport.
Foreign Minister Yoko is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with Minister for Foreign Affairs Narayan Kaji Shrestha.
The two foreign ministers will take stock of bilateral relations and hold discussions on projects being implemented in Nepal under Japanese assistance.
Foreign Minister Yoko is also scheduled to pay courtesy calls on President Ram Chandra Poudel and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
She will depart Kathmandu at 10 pm.
