KATHMANDU: Police have made public a suspect arrested in connection with the killing of three people.
The District Police Office, Tanahun, said they have obtained a seven-day remand for Kumar Nepali (46), originally from Kaski and currently residing in Shuklagandaki-5, Tanahun.
The bodies were discovered on January 10 at Kaserighat, on the banks of the Seti River. Two of the victims have been identified as Narayan BK (39) of Shuklagandaki-11 and Deumaya Thapa (58) of Bhimad-8. The identity of the third victim, a male estimated to be around 55 years old, remains unknown.
DSP Shravan Kumar BK said the police recovered a knife, a shawl, and clothes reportedly used in the crime from the accused.
