26-day baby stolen from Kathmandu hospital!

KATHMANDU: A 26-day baby has been stolen from the premises of Paropakar Maternity and Women’s Hospital.

According to SP Nabaraj Adhikari, the spokesperson for the District Police Range Kathmandu, a woman from Kavre has filed a complaint with the police that her baby has been stolen.

“I had asked an unidentified woman to take care of my baby while I collected health reports from the hospital. When I returned the woman the woman was nowhere to be seen,” the mother has stated in her complaint, according to police.

CCTV video of the hospital premises shows a woman in a red dress and wearing a black mask exiting the hospital premises with the baby in her arms.

“Police have intensified the search for the woman,” SP Adhikari said.
