25 Nepali pilgrims injured in road accident in India

KATHMANDU: Twenty-five persons were injured when a bus carrying Nepali pilgrims met with an accident in Samastipur in Bihar state of India on Sunday morning.

“A total of 25 passengers were injured in the incident. Ten seriously injured are receiving treatment at a local hospital in Samastipur, according to DSP Prakash Sapkota, the spokesperson for the District Police Office, Bara.

According to Sapkota, the bus flipped on the road after being hit by a truck from behind.

The bus was carrying 43 passengers including the driver and his assistant. The bus left from Badhagadhi Rural Municipaliy-3 for Babadham in India via Birgunj on Saturday.
