POKHARA: As many as 25 individuals were injured when a passenger bus veered off the road along Prithvi Highway in Tanahun district on Tuesday.
According to the District Police Office, Tanahun, the bus heading to Surkhet from Pokhara fell some 20 meters below the road from a place called Ghumti in Myagde Rural Municipality-4 of Tanahun at around 2:30 pm.
The condition of most of the injured is normal, according to DSP Ashok Thapa, the information officer of the District Police Office, Tanahun.
Among the injured, 15 are receiving treatment at Provincial Hospital, Damauli, and seven at Ratna Hari Hospital, Damauli. Three have been referred to Pokhara after first aid at Myagde Polyclinic in Tharpu.
