Mukunda Shyam Giri
KATHMANDU: Sixteen central committee members of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) have jointly appealed for the reinstatement of Mukunda Shyam Giri to his previous positions as the Vice Chairperson and Central Committee member.
In their appeal to party Chairperson Rajendra Prasad Lingden, they expressed serious concern over Giri’s removal. In the appeal, they claimed that Giri was dismissed without prior notice just because he had signed a joint statement urging party leadership to uphold the statute and respect the contributions, sacrifices and dedication of leaders toward the party.
The appeal was signed by General Secretary Kunti Kumari Shahi; Karnali Province Chairperson Deep Bahadur Shahi; Central Committee members Satya Bahadur Shahi, Kali Bahadur Shahi, Sunita Shah and Saurendra Bahadur Shah, Janak Singh Thakuri, Bhim Bahadur Shahi, Anupam Singh Shrestha, Deepak Malla, Deepak Khanal, Babita Shahi, Dhansur Shahi, Amar Giri, Tika Yogi and Deputy General Secretary Yagya Bahadur Singh.
