KATHMANDU: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced a 15-member squad for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup (CWC) League 2 tri-series in Canada.

CAN revealed the squad for the tri-series against Canada and Oman through a press statement on Monday. Nepal will play two ODI matches against each team.

This will be Nepal’s second tri-series in the CWC League, following the home series against Namibia and the Netherlands.

Nepal is scheduled to face Canada on September 16 and 22, and Oman on September 18 and 24.

The Netherlands currently leads the eight-team CWC League 2 table with 12 points from eight games.

Nepal is seventh with two points from four matches, while Oman is sixth with three points from as many matches.

Nepal is also scheduled to play a T20 series against the two countries following the CWC League 2 series.

Rohit Paudel (Captain), Kushal Bhurtel, Aasif Sheikh, Anil Sah, Bhim Sharki, Aarif Sheikh, Kushal Malla, Dipendra Singh Airee, Arjun Saud, Sompal Kami, Karan KC, Gulshan Kumar Jha, Rijan Dhakal, Sandeep Lamichhane, Lalit Rajbanshi, Dev Khanal (traveling reserve).
