KATHMANDU: The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police has released 10 bankers who were in its custody for investigation for banking offenses. They have been accused of disbursing loans without adequate collateral.
According to the CIB, the 10 bankers were released following the completion of preliminary investigation. However, they are required to report to the CIB premises every day until the investigation is completed.
CIB arrested Manoj Neupane, Tulsi Gautam, Rajesh Bhandari, Dilip Baral, Subash Bahadur Shrestha, Anupama Shrestha Manandhar, Sabin Ghimire, Raman Shrestha, Dipesh Pradhan, and Sunil Basnet on February 27.
